“Questo è un progetto a cui tengo molto, ma non so se mai vedrà la luce.” Questo pensavo fino a ieri e poi.. ho deciso di condividere tutto da qui. Si tratta di un OMAGGIO PERSONALE a Michael Jackson, un omaggio all’artista e soprattutto all’uomo: sono alcune sue canzoni che ho tradotto in italiano, in metrica, e che poi ho registrato a Napoli, presso la StarlightStudios di Renato De Carlo, con l’impareggiabile supporto tecnico del grande fonico Giuseppe Polito. OBIETTIVO: diffondere i contenuti delle sue canzoni, che sono messaggi di pace, amore, tolleranza, solidarietà, messaggi contro le discriminazioni, la guerra, l’egoismo. Nelle sue canzoni è evidente una grande e profonda fede, e i messaggi mettono in luce la vera essenza del grande Umanitario Michael Jackson. Il percorso, tutto, è stato un SOGNO. RIBADISCO QUINDI IL MIO OBIETTIVO: diffondere il messaggio delle sue canzoni nella mia lingua madre, affinché siano compresi e rimangano più impressi, perché la musica è un linguaggio universale. La mia quindi, è una missione dove io fungo da messaggero. Con questo mio lavoro NON HO E NON HO MAI AVUTO ALCUNA INTENZIONE di ottenere guadagni, nulla di tutto questo è in vendita. Se in passato ho accarezzato l’idea di vendere, è stato solo perché avrei voluto fare poi qualcosa in nome di Michael Jackson, qualche azione benefica, proprio per onorare la sua persona, per dare forze e confermare il suo modo di essere, e soprattutto perché so benissimo che tutto questo mio lavoro, in coscienza, appartiene a lui. Questo è il mio pensiero: ciò che proviene da questo mio lavoro appartiene a Michael Jackson e ai suoi figli. TUTTI I DIRITTI DELLE CANZONI ORIGINALI APPARTENGONO AGLI AUTORI STESSI.
“This is a project I care a lot about, but I don’t know if it will ever see the light.” This I thought until yesterday and then .. I decided to share everything from here, from my personal site. It is a PERSONAL TRIBUT to Michael Jackson, a tribute to the artist and above all to man: these are some of his songs that I translated into Italian, in metrics, and which I then recorded in Naples, at Renato De Carlo’s StarlightStudios, with the incomparable technical support of the great sound engineer Giuseppe Polito. OBJECTIVE: to spread the contents of his songs, which are messages of peace, love, tolerance, solidarity, messages against discrimination, war, selfishness. A great and profound faith is evident in his songs, and the messages highlight the true essence of the great Humanitarian Michael Jackson. The whole path was a DREAM. I THEREFORE REITERATE MY GOAL: to spread the message of his songs in my native language, so that the contents are understood and remain more impressed, because music is a universal language. Mine is therefore a mission where I act as a messenger. With this job of mine I NEVER HAD, I DO NOT HAVE AND I WILL NEVER HAVE ANY INTENTION to make money, none of this is for sale. If in the past I caressed the idea of selling, it was only because with the whole proceeds I would have liked to do something in the name of Michael Jackson, some beneficial action, just to honor his person, to give strength and confirm his way of being, and above all because I know very well that all my work, in conscience, belongs to him. This is always been my thought: what comes from my work belongs to Michael Jackson and his children, I don’t want to earn anything. ALL RIGHTS OF THE ORIGINAL SONGS BELONG TO THE AUTHORS THEMSELVES.
